Being a parent is exhausting.
After the birth of our first child, my wife and I stumbled through each day and each diaper looking for sleep, coffee, or an extra set of hands. But most of all, we agonized about how to keep our children safe.
Our kiddos are lucky enough to have a mom with handy skills. I have built houses with AmeriCorps, worked for a non-profit hardware store, and been the family member who fixes everything.
We all need just a little more help.
But not all babies (or their parents) are that lucky. That's why we started Baby Steps, DC; to give parents an extra hand - and maybe some extra sleep.

Let's talk about gates, furniture anchors, and cabinet latches to keep your kiddo safe. And if you have plaster walls or ornate newel posts, I can create custom trim for extra safety and protection.
